New for this year is that Michael Björklund and his cheerful staff at Smakbyn are offering Smakbyn’s wonderful Easter food to our happy friends on Åland and parts of mainland Finland and Sweden! All products are handmade from scratch at Smakbyn. For those of us who love good food and drinks, hearty products made with love and good ingredients are the best recipe for a wonderful Easter. If you order an Easter food box from Smakbyn, you’ll have more time to spend with family and friends.

We offer an Easter food box with a selection of appetizers and main dishes from our buffet. If desired, you can add boiled potatoes and eggs yourself. We also couldn’t resist including our favorite Easter cake from the Easter table, a true chocolate shock with a brownie base, chocolate cream topped with chocolate mousse. The idea is that your family can enjoy the food as it is, or if you want, complement your own Easter table with the flavors of Micke’s Åland. This is how Micke likes to celebrate Easter with his loved ones, and now we want to offer you Micke’s and Smakbyn’s flavors right to our food-loving friends’ homes! The Easter box contains a mix of Easter treats, perfect for four to six people.

In Åland you may pick up your box at Smakbyn but we do offer home delivery aswell.

A minimum amount of orders is needed for us to make the deliveries. If it is not reached we will let you know well in advance.

Smakbyns easter box contains:

3 different pickled herring from Smakbyn. (onion herring, mustard herring and creamy herb herring.)

200 g hash with fish, eggs and onions

200 g cold smoked trout from Åland

200 g hash of trout from Åland

100 g “Hovmästar” sauce, mustard / dill

1 pcs of mother in laws dark bread

200 g crispy beetroot salad with apple and seeds

400 g herb braised lamb

200 g cream sauce with black currant

300 g Kastelholm cheese pie

400 g Janssons temptation

400 g Mickes meatballs

4 st Smakbyns sausage

400 g easter ham

Easter cake, chocolate shock

 

All dishes in Smakbyns easter box are lactose free. Everything besides mother in laws bread is gluten free.
