Michael Björklund and his cheerful team at Smakbyn are once again offering Smakbyn’s wonderful Christmas food – this year also delivered to our dear friends in parts of mainland Finland! All products are handmade from scratch at Smakbyn. For those of us who love good food and drink, hearty products made with love and quality ingredients are the best recipe for a fine Christmas.
By ordering a Christmas box from Smakbyn, you’ll have more time to spend with family and friends. We offer a Christmas food box filled with delicious items from our appetizer and main course table – and if you like, you can simply add boiled potatoes yourself.
A new addition this year is a jar of mother-in-law’s strong Christmas mustard. And of course, we couldn’t resist also adding some sweet treats from our favorite Christmas desserts, creating a dessert box as well.
The idea is that your family can enjoy the food just as it is, or you can complement your own Christmas table with the flavors of Micke’s Åland. This is how Micke himself loves to celebrate Christmas with his loved ones, and now we want to share Micke’s and Smakbyn’s flavors with all our food-loving friends at home!
Both boxes include a mix of Christmas delicacies, perfectly suited as Christmas food for four to six people.
In Finland, we have pick-up points in Närpes, Vaasa, Jakobstad, Kristinestad, Helsinki, Inkoo, Karis, Ekenäs, Tenala and Turku.

200 g gravad Åland whitefish
200 g Åland hot-smoked trout spread
100 g hovmästar sauce (Swedish mustard-dill sauce)
1 mother-in-law’s rye loaf
200 g beetroot & apple salad
400 g potato casserole
400 g carrot casserole
400 g rutabaga casserole
400 g Jansson’s Temptation
400 g Micke’s meatballs
4 Smakbyn Christmas sausages
400 g Christmas ham
1 jar of mother-in-law’s mustard
Micke’s sweet Christmas box contains: A box of Micke’s selected Christmas sweets – all made from scratch at Smakbyn. Contents include: butter toffee with sea salt, “Röd Granit” chocolate truffle, chocolate mousse, coconut balls, rocky road, carrot cake, and a jar of candies from our friends at Ålandskaramelleriet.
All items in the Christmas boxes are lactose-free. Everything except the bread and carrot cake is gluten-free. Coconut balls contain oats.
