Michael Björklund and his cheerful team at Smakbyn are once again offering Smakbyn’s wonderful Christmas food – this year also delivered to our happy friends in Sweden! All products are handmade from scratch at Smakbyn. For those of us who love good food and drink, hearty products made with love and quality ingredients are the best recipe for a wonderful Christmas.
By ordering a Christmas box from Smakbyn, you’ll have more time to spend with family and friends. We offer a Christmas food box filled with delicious items from our appetizer and main course table – and if you like, you can simply add boiled potatoes yourself.
A new addition this year is a jar of mother-in-law’s strong Christmas mustard. And of course, we couldn’t resist also adding some taste samples from our favorite Christmas desserts, creating a dessert box as well.
The idea is that your family can enjoy the food just as it is, or you can complement your own Christmas table with the flavors of Micke’s Åland. This is how Micke loves to celebrate Christmas with his loved ones – and now we want to share Micke’s and Smakbyn’s flavors with all our food-loving friends at home!
Both boxes include a mix of Christmas delicacies, perfectly suited as Christmas food for four to six people. In Sweden, we deliver them to Grisslehamn, Norrtälje, and Stockholm Danderyd.

3 kinds of pickled herring (onion, mustard, herb & garlic)
200 g shrimp mix
200 g cured Åland whitefish
200 g mixture of warm smoked trout from Åland
100 g mustard-dill sauce
1 loaf of mother-in-law’s bread
200 g beetroot and apple salad
400 g potato casserole
400 g carrot casserole
400 g swede casserole
400 g Jansson’s temptation
400 g Micke’s meatballs
4 pcs Smakbyn’s Christmas sausages
400 g Christmas ham
1 jar of mother-in-law’s mustard
Micke’s sweet Christmas box contains: A box of Micke’s selected Christmas sweets – all made from scratch at Smakbyn. Contents include: butter toffee with sea salt, “Röd Granit” chocolate truffle, chocolate mousse, coconut balls, rocky road, carrot cake, and a jar of candies from our friends at Ålandskaramelleriet.
All items in the Christmas boxes are lactose-free. Everything except the bread and carrot cake is gluten-free. Coconut balls contain oats.
Prices: Smakbyn’s Christmas box: €175 (or 1950 SEK)
Sweet box: €60 (or 700 SEK)
Package price for both: €210 (or 2350 SEK)

To ensure our friends receive their Christmas food in good time for Christmas Eve, Smakbyn’s staff will load the cars and deliver your orders. In Sweden, we will deliver the Christmas food on December 22 according to the following schedule:
Grisslehamn: 9:30–9:45 AM at the parking lot north of the Eckerö Linjen terminal in Grisslehamn, just after the terminal on the left side.
Norrtälje: 10:45–11:00 AM at the commuter parking by the Campus Roslagen bus stop.
Stockholm Danderyd: 12:30–12:45 PM at the parking lot north of Mörby Centrum.
Please note: Deliveries may be cancelled if there are too few orders. Please place your order in good time, but no later than December 16th, on our website shop.smakbyn.ax.
